About NACRO

The New Apostolic Church Relief Organisation (NACRO) is a development and humanitarian initiative of the New Apostolic Church in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe.  NACRO is headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia, and has country offices in Lilongwe, Malawi, and Harare, Zimbabwe. The organisation has a workforce of 44 staff across the three countries and works with a network of 240 volunteers.

NACRO is  driven by the vision of resilient and
sustainable
livelihoods, thus:

  • VISION:  “A strengthened NACRO supporting communities―across its areas of operation―to build resilience and achieve sustainable, self‑reliant livelihoods.”
  • MISSION:  “To strengthen the resilience and livelihood opportunities of vulnerable communities through high‑quality, demand‑driven technical and capacity‑building services.”
 


To  achieve its  vision, NACRO advances transformation in social development of communities in need by strengthening capacities and partnerships in  the Education,
Health,
and Livelihood sectors, and in the crosscutting themes of Climate Adaptation and Resilience and Gender and Social Inclusion.
